  • VOCAL's Wiregrass Angel House - Our staff members are available to assist the family and loved ones of a homicide victim. Advocates assist survivors in communicating with Police, Attorney's General office, and Governor's Office and provide emotional  and physical support throughout the course of your case. All of our services are free of charge.

Alaska -

  • Alaska Office of Victims' Rights - n agency of the Alaska Legislature that provides free legal services to victims of crime to help them obtain the rights they are guaranteed under the Alaska constitution
  • Victims for Justice - VFJ provides a variety of services to those whose lives have been affected by violent crime, including counseling. Services are offered free of charge

Arizona -

  • Arizona Voice for Crime Victims - information for crime victims, lawyers and law students, people working in the field of victims' rights and the general public.
  • Office of Victim Services - established within the Ariona Department of Corrections to ensure that all crime victims are treated with dignity and respect throughout an inmate's incarceration and community supervision/parole periods.
  • Victim's Legal Assistance Project - collaboration between Arizona Voice for Crime Victims and the College of Law. The program is made up of students and volunteer attorneys who represent crime victims pro bono during all proceedings.

  • Witness Justice - Provides advocacy and direct assistance, along with a wide range of onlie resources, focused on the vital but often neglected intermediate and long-term support that victims need to heal and to navigate the criminal justice process.
  • Survivors Taking Action (STA) - a national advocacy and education initiative to address the public health crisis of psychological trauma from violence, abuse and neglect, disaster (man-made and natural), terrorism, and war.

Montana -

  • Missoula City/County Crime Victim Advocate Program - committed to providing free and confidential services to survivors of violent crime, including information, opportunities, advocacy, and support, especially in the civil criminal justice system processes.

New Mexico -

  • New Mexico Victims' Rights Project - The goal of the Victims' Rights Project is to help victims meet their legal, financial and emotional needs through: pro bono legal counsel

New Jersey -

  • New Jersey 211 - Both web page and toll-free telephone access to human services throughout the state. (Dial 211)
  • Victims of Crime Compensation Agencyprovides compensation to innocent victims of violent crime for some expenses they suffer as a result of the crime.
  • Contact of Burlington County - a TELEPHONE Crisis Intervention Helpline. They do not provide on-line crisis intervention.

  • National Crime Victim Law Institute - Actively promotes balance and fairness in the justice system through crime victim centered legal advocacy, education, and resource sharing.

Pennsylvania -

  • Address Confidentiality Program Information for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking
  • Mothers in Charge - Founded by Dorothy Johnson-Speight as a community advocacy and support organization for families affected by violence. Dorothy Johnson-Speight's 24 year old son was murdered over a parking space in December 2001.
  • Office of Victims Services - The Office of Victims' Services administers rights and services to victims of crime in Pennsylvania; administers the Victims Compensation Assistance Program and provides a statewide education effort to victim service professionals and outreach to the public. This Office is comprised of three programs.

  • Brown County Crime Victim's Assistance a one-person department authorized by the Brown County Commission to assist victims of crime as they work with the criminal justice system from arrest through prosecution

  • Crime Victims Civil Legal Services Fund - We represent victims in court proceedings, litigate victims' rights cases, and serve as a research and information center for victims' rights issues
  • Crime Victim Services - The Attorney General's Crime Victim Services Division is made up of two programs, the Crime Victims Compensation Program and the Grants and Contracts Management Program.

Utah -

  • Utah Crime Victims Legal Clinic - provides free legal representation to crime victims when victims' rights issues are at stake. The Legal Clinic is available to serve victims of all types of crime and has a statewide focus.

Vermont -

  • Vermont Center for Crime Victim Services - easy access to information for victims of crime in Vermont. You can look up court dockets, search for offender information or find a survivor group that meets your needs.

  • Help for American Victims of Crime Overseas - The Bureau of Consular Affairs, Overseas Citizens Services is committed to assisting American citizens who become victims of crime while traveling, working, or residing abroad
  • Victim Assistance Online - A reference, resource and networking centre for the international victim assistance community.  It is a non-profit information, research and networking resource for victim assistance specialists, professionals in related disciplines and all interested in the field of victimology.
